The outer shell is crafted from a durable 1000D ballistic nylon that is super tough, sleek and glossy to help prevent your horse’s pasture mates from biting and tearing the blanket. Designed for optimum versatility, the Rambo® Optimo Turnout features a 0 gram outer shell with a 400 gram liner and a 150 gram detachable hood. This blanket is Horseware liner compatible, allowing you to add or substitute a lighter weight liner (sold separately) to easily adapt to changing weather conditions.
