The LeMieux Turnout Boots are ideal to stand up to the rigors of turnout and will help protect pasterns from Mud Fever with it's waterproof guard. Made of strong Airprene and contoured to fit the lower leg, they cup the fetlock to prevent slippage. They are perforated to allow air flow and regulate temperature during extended periods of wear. Ideal for protecting sensitive skin from wet elements or for replacing a brushing boot and bell boot combo to provide an easier option! Easy to hose off or machine wash.

      I use these boots for winter turnout. I have a horse that has an old wound on her lower leg that won't grow hair so as temperatures dip below -12C her skin will crack and start to bleed. I use these instead of vet wrap and gaze. I change and dry them every second day to prevent rubbing problems. After using them for 2.5 winters the foam is starting to seperate under the knuckle padding. However, they have saved me lots of headache and I would say after 2.5 winters of regular use they have paid for themselves.

      I bought these for my 17.2 hh mare that gets very depressed without field turnout. These boots are amazing. They fit perfectly, her legs stay dry and mud free !! Happy horse happy rider. Delivery was very fast . Could not be happier. Will definitely order again if and when needed.
