      Purchased a pair at the 2023 Royal winter fair and loved them. Unfortunately a year and a half into wearing them the inside leather liner (inside one of the boots) cracked and made holes. I contacted the Ego7 headoffice and was told that since I was out of the guarantee time period they couldn’t do anything about it despite me taking care of them perfectly(they still look new on the outside) and they then stopped replying to my emails…Fit and comfort is great but durability and customer service from the company (Ego7, not sprucewood) is really poor. Even if they are not in the top priced tall boots like Parlanti and Tucci I would have expected the product to last a lot longer than a year and a half. I do not recommend.

      Excellent boots!!! When I first tried them on, I was a bit concerned as they were overly tight and were tough to zip up. After a few days of walking around in them to stretch them out and a few rides, these boots fit amazing. Unlike other boots, these boots haven't "dropped," and lost some of their length - maybe due to the inner synthetic panel (which is amazing). The three tiered spur rests are great so you can adjust your spur position depending on the barrel of your horse. Most of all, the staff in Tavistock were fantastic - special ordering these boots, providing excellent advice via email, and giving great in-store service when it came time for pickup. Overall, the best tack store I have encountered in all ways - products, knowledge and service.
