Barrier is a combination of grape seed meal, distiller grains, diatomaceous earth, garlic powder and thiamine B-1 that creates a barrier around your horse to protect it. Garlic and thiamine B-1 contain sulphur compounds that when ingested, creates a barrier on the surface of the skin. Grape sead meal is exceptionally high in antioxidants, which help to improve the integrity of the skin, making it more difficult for insects to bite. Diatomaceous earth is deadly to an insect, but completely harmless to animals. It is non-toxic, crushed fossils of freshwater organisms and marine life. Distillers grain is an important ingredient, as a carrier for the other ingredients in Barrier, it contains protein, fat, minerals and vitamins.
